Every year the Cerinthe (also known as Honeywort) self seed in my garden. At the end of the arching blue-green stems and bracts are beautiful nectar filled purple blossoms that attract a variety of pollinators and hummingbirds. This watercolor is the second in a small series of two paintings that I was inspired to create. The original painting is 6x6 inches.
